My Problem
One of those things, you don't realize you have a problem until your charging cable starts deteriorating because you keep your phone attached to the charger so the battery does not drain and your phone goes death. A bad battery! A new phone? Nope, too much $$$. Google search... IFIXIT!
My Fix
12 minutes, that was all, and the phone was up 'n running with new life! Remove the "weirdo" screws, slide the cover, change the battery, put the cover back, new screws, done!
My Advice
Watch it with the ground link under the battery connector, it falls off when disconnecting the old battery and has to be put back in place when installing the new one. Take the opportunity to clean the gaskets!
