Introduction

The speaker is located inside the phone underneath the front cover. A T6 screwdriver is needed to access the speaker.

What you need

Step 1 Back Cover

Press down the button on the back panel.

Push the back cover upwards.

Remove the back cover from the phone.

Press the silver button on the top of the phone.

Slide your thumbnail down the case seam to separate the rest of the case.

Gently remove the case.
Careful! Do not bend the plastic tabs.

Using a T6 Torx Screwdriver, unscrew and remove the six screws shown in the picture.

Remove the panel that covers the motherboard.
If replacing the speaker, stop at this step and skip forward to the first step of the speaker guide.

Remove the LCD screen frame.

Remove the motherboard.

Locate the speaker on the back of the removed panel.

Use nails to gently lift the speaker up; speaker may be slightly glued to the panel.

When the speaker is loose, gently lift the speaker out of the panel.
