ionvac SmartClean V2 Main Brush Replacement

Introduction

This guide will show you how to replace the main brush on your ionvac SmartClean V2. While both the main rolling brush and side spinning brushes sweep all dirt into the dustbin, they are replaced differently. Unlike the side brushes, main brush replacements are not included in your ionvac SmartClean V2 box.

This is a quick and easy replacement, and you will not need any tools to complete it. Remember to remove and reinstall all parts gently.

    • Caution: Before beginning, turn off the ionvac and place it on a level surface.

    • Flip your ionvac upside down so the wheels are pointed upwards and the side brushes are furthest from you.

    • Place your thumbs on the two release tabs of the main brush cover (brush guard) and push the tabs open.

    • Remove the brush guard.

    • Hold the brush on both ends.

    • Pull the right side out first, releasing it from the ionvac.

    • Remove the entire brush from the ionvac.
