What you need

1. Step 1 The Cover
  Unscrew the 5 #0 Phillips screws.
  
  The screws do not come out all the way, they will stay in the cover.

2. Step 2 The Brush
  Use a Flathead screwdriver or Philips to unscrew the side brush.
  
  Make sure to hold the side brush or it will spin when you try to unscrew it.

4. Step 3 Remove cover
  Gently pull the side brush straight up.
  
  Do not pull the side brush too hard or you may break the plastic.

5. Step 4
  Use your fingernails to pull up on each side to remove the cover.
  
  If there is resistance, Do not pull hard, just find what screw is not all the way unscrewed.

  Pull back the clip in the middle and pull the battery straight up.
  
  When assembling the Roomba again. put the robot on its charging base to wake it up.

  Line the battery up with the notches and side it in.
