Introduction
If your iRobot Braava Jet 240 battery does not charge when it is placed in the charging adaptor and plugged into the wall, use this guide to replace the battery. A working battery provides power to the robot. Over time, recharging causes the battery to lose the ability to hold charge, meaning it will need to be replaced.
It is important to remove the battery before replacing other parts to ensure the robot does not turn on accidentally. Additionally, removing the battery exposes inner screws that might need to be removed to replace other parts of the robot.
