      • Before opening your iPod, ensure that the hold switch is in the locked position.

But how do I install it on? Do I just push it back? I want to fix mine but it doesn't even have the top part anymore, or the hold switch

I would recommend that you put some new adhesive on there. All you have to do is put the switch in its place and put on a new top and push it down.
