Introduction

Use this guide to open the device because the steps will become difficult when removing the top of the device. You will need to make sure the power on the device is off and unplugged to prevent injury. You will need and iOpener or heat gun to heat to put of the edges of the device as it will be difficult to remove without the iOpener and may cause damage to the device.

What you need

Step 1 Top Cover

Make sure you remove all seven 3 mm screws before proceeding to the next step.

Use iOpener or heat gun on all sides except the front.

Be cautious when taking the top of the device off there may still be some adhesive stuck to device.
The top of the device will be very difficult to remove because of the adhesive holding it together.
