Introduction
Use this guide to remove your iHome iP1's dock cover. This cover is located on the underside of the iPod/iPhone dock. Although it serves no function other than to protect the command button and dock assemblies, it is necessary to remove in order to access other components of the iHome iP1, such as the 30-pin connector and the command buttons.

Remove the dock cover by grabbing its sides and pulling it up and away from the faceplate.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
