Introduction

There is a small diaphragm within the device that functions as the speaker for the audio alarm. This guide contains information on how to replace it.

What you need

1. Step 1 Speaker
  Remove the plastic cover from the back of the device.

2. Step 2
  Remove the batteries from their positions within the device.

4. Step 3
  Remove five black 10 mm Phillips #0 screws from the back side of the device.
  
  Remove two silver-colored 5 mm Phillips from the left side of the internal cover.

  Separate the back cover from the main portion of the device.

  Desolder the speaker wires from the motherboard.
