Introduction

If your Zulay Kitchen Milk Frother (Model Number: Exec Series UV Milk Frother) has a broken motor, this guide will show you how to open the frother safely, lift the motor coils from the terminals, and insert the new motor.

Pull and lift the small tab at the bottom of the battery cover to remove the cover.
Pull and lift the black tab inside the battery compartment to lift out both AA batteries.
Look inside the battery compartment for corrosion before continuing. Corrosion can cause burns and may further damage the device.

Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the two 12.7 mm screws on the left and right sides of the battery compartment.

Insert a spudger or opening tool into the seam near the power button and slide it around the edge to release the clips securing the two halves of the housing together.

Use tweezers to lift the two metal coils from the top and bottom motor terminals.
Carefully hold the coils with the tweezers, avoiding the metal body of the motor.
