Introduction

Use the following guide to remove the printhead safely without the use of tools.

What you need

Step 1 Printhead

Zebra ZP 505 Printhead Replacement, Printhead: step 1, image 1 of 1

Locate a tab securing the printhead on the right hand side of the printer.

Ask FixBot

Step 2

Push the tab to the right. The thermal head should release outward.

Step 3

Hold the thermal head and pull out gently.

Step 4

Disconnect the two (tan) harnesses located on opposite sides of the thermal head and remove the printhead.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
