From the home screen hold the home button for about 7 seconds then release.

A box should come up asking for a password.

Enter 6789 and it will return to the home screen.

It should show you are logged into service mode where it usually show the user.

Change the settings you wanted. Great way to reset a used machine without the Admin password.

Resetting the machine will put the Admin password to default. Older firmware defaults to 1111 Most will be the device serial number. Serial number is on back of machine, if tag is missing log into the EWS with a PC and it should show there. Make sure to use capitol letters when entering the serial number.
