Flip the laptop on its back and find the lining of the back panel.

Use the iFixit plastic opening tool to put in between the lining of the back panel and begin to pry open the panel.

With the iFixit opening tool go all the way around the back panel until the back is detached.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
