Open the housing from the rear (camera side) using a flat clip.

There are 6 screws underneath. These must be removed.
Ask FixBot

Carefully remove the ribbon cable.

The positive and negative terminals must be desoldered.

The replacement battery is now removed and the solder joints can be cleaned.
