Introduction
The Velocity Micro Cruz is fairly simple to work on. Please make sure that you are mindful of where you are placing the individual screws. The screws and their location are important when reassembling the tablet.
What you need

Using one of the plastic opening tools, separate the plastic back from the tablet in one spot.

Gently work the tool around the diameter of the tablet until the back pops completely off.

Use the screwdrivers to remove all the screws.

Ensure that all screws are removed before moving on to the next step.

Remove the bottom LCD connector by gently pulling it away from the motherboard.

-
Identify the speaker wires.

Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry underneath the frame of the grey plastic frame until it completely separates from the housing.

Use the wire cutters to clip the speaker wires in the middle

Use a plastic opening tool to remove the speaker.

Insert the new speaker in its place and solder the old and new wires together.
