    • Place the speaker on your work surface.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to lift the edge of the rubber base and peel it away from the housing.

    • Set the rubber base aside.

    • Remove the 5.4 mm screw securing the small carry strap using a 4 mm flathead screwdriver.

    • Gently slide the strap and its plastic bracket out of place.

    • Set the strap and screw aside.

    • Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 11.4 mm screws along the panel.

    • Gently lift the rubber control panel away from the housing.

    • Rotate the Tribit StormBox, with the middle driver facing out.

    • Remove the four 7.7 mm screws securing the driver with a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • Gently lift the driver out with care not to strain the connections.

    • Rotate the Tribit StormBox to face the bottom driver.

    • Remove the four 7.7 mm screws with the Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • Gently lift the driver out with care not to strain the connections.

    • Gently pulling the speakers out from the frame, will expose the soldering points.

    • This step will work for both speakers as they share identical soldering points on both speakers.

    • Caution: Soldering can release toxic fumes, and cause irreparable damage to your lungs. You should be working in a well vented area to prevent this. As well as protecting your skin due to the high heated soldering iron. You should be using tweezers to hold the wires to prevent you from having contact with the heated soldering iron.

    • Place desoldering braid over the exposed connections.

    • Apply your soldering iron to the exposed soldering points while using tweezers to hold onto the wires to disconnect it safely.
