Introduction
This guide will show you how to replace the battery on a Toshiba excite 7c. The battery may need to be replaced because it is not holding a charge or the tablet will not turn on. Once the tablet case is open, battery replacement is rather easy and requires only a set of tweezers.
Be careful not to pull the wires of the connector while performing this repair.
What you need

To open your device use the plastic opener. Locate the seam on your device and gently separate applying pressure down all four sides.

The back casing will start to peel away from the screen.

Carefully lift and remove the back panel with tablet lying face down on table. this will reveal the back side.

Locate the battery on the back of your device.

Remove the battery connector using a pair of tweezers.

On the side of the battery peel back but do not remove the two black pieces of tape.

Carefully lift the battery out of the device, and set aside.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
