Texas Instruments TI BA II PLUS Battery Replacement

What you need

      • Switch off the calculator by pressing the button at the top right corner.

      • Turn over the calculator so the backside of the calculator is facing upwards.

      • Remove the four 2mm Phillips #00 screws from the bottom cover.

      • Open a small gap at the bottom of the calculator, using a spudger or your fingers.

      • Move your thumb from the bottom edge to the top.

      • Be gentle when separating the cases to avoid breaking the clips.

      • Use a spudger to remove the battery from the cage at the bottom of the motherboard.

      • Replace the battery with the new CR2032 Lithium Battery in the battery cage.

      • Reattach the calculator cases, beginning from the top edge.

      • Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to replace the 2.00 mm screws.

It's amazing that this calculator can break. I am an accountant student in college and despite modern technologies and the rather powerful functionality of modern smartphones, I like to use just such a calculator for financial calculations.
