Open the pie maker.
Remove four 4 mm screws holding the crescent-shaped black plastic plate in place with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
Remove the black crescent-shaped plastic plate.

Repeat the previous step to remove the upper black crescent-shaped plastic plate from the upper half of the unit.
The pie maker's symmetrical construction may cause confusion—in this image the pie maker is resting on its upper half.

Remove the four 4 mm screws located directly on either side of the hinges with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
Successfully removed screws will allow for the separation of the pan component from the outer plastic shell.

Remove the final two 4 mm screws from the circular black plastic bottom base plate with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
Remove the black plastic base.

Disconnect the two red and green incandescent lights from their fixtures by popping them out of their red plastic cradles.
