Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓Does your Soundboks 4 suddenly sound rattling or distorted during bass-heavy songs? - your woofer may be the troublemaker.
The Soundboks 4 contains two identical 10" woofers, each are taking on a different job - but the parts are identical. Take a close listen, and identify the faulty woofer - the repair is easy enough.

Put the speaker flat down on its back

Use the hook in each corner and pull lightly upwards

The grille is now removed by hand

Use the Hex tool to unscrew all 8 screws. Follow the indicated order

Gently press the tab on the cable connector and pull to remove the cables from the woofer

Ask FixBot
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
! Remember to follow the screw order in reverse - to avoid damaging your woofer !
