A faulty battery is a common problem. Your computer may not turn on or hold a full charge. Use this guide to replace your battery.

Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the notebook.

Using your thumb, slide the release latch to the left.

While holding the release latch to the left, firmly grip the three raised horizontal bars located on the center of the battery cover.

Pull the battery away from the device.
