  Start with device closed, powered off, and upside down.

  Locate the "LOCK" latch and slide to the right on the left side.
  
  Locate the "SLIDE" latch. Slide to the left and hold.

  While still holding the "Slide" latch, lift battery up and out of the device.

To reassemble your device, replace the battery into the slot and drop in. Slide the "LOCK" back to the left.
