Introduction
Ear cushions should be comfortable but they can wear down over time, causing a flakey surface that may be uncomfortable. Replacing them can improve both comfort and audio quality. Are you ready to switch them out? Follow our simple replacement guide to replace the cushions on your Sony ULT Wear device.
Before installing, make sure to clean off any dust, old adhesive, or debris around the mounting surface to help the new ear cushions fit securely.
What you need

Gently press the pad down toward the center of the driver housing to expose the crease connecting the pad to the driver housing.

Carefully insert the flat end of the nylon spudger into the seam between the crease of the ear pad and the driver housing.

Pry around the perimeter of the ear pad to disengage the retaining clips until the ear pad fully releases.

Remove the ear pad.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
