Introduction
This is actually for the Grind Fuel, a sequel of sorts. I dropped my case and the earbuds stopped turning themselves off and wouldn’t charge. It turns out there’s a tiny magnet embedded in the orange part of the case that tells it when it’s closed.

The magnet is on the dimpled part of the case, which closes right behind the earbuds and actuates some sort of sensor that tells the case the cover is closed.

The fix is to use a spudger, opening tool or (if you’re desperate like me) a screwdriver to pry the orange piece off. Then you can recover the loose magnet, superglue it back into the obvious slot for it, and snap the case together.

Conclusion
Hopefully polarity won’t matter, I didn’t test that.
