Introduction
A bathroom sink is used frequently, and over time, the pop-up stopper may become less effective at sealing the drain.
This guide shows how to replace the pop-up stopper in a bathroom sink. Installing a new stopper will help create a tight seal, allowing the sink to hold water and reducing the risk of items falling down the drain.
Before you begin, turn the shutoff valves beneath the sink clockwise to stop the water supply. Turn on the faucet to confirm that the water is off. If the valves are damaged or not working, turn off the main water supply instead.
