Introduction
This guide demonstrates how to remove the suction motor of the Shark ION RV754 robot vacuum.
The suction motor is responsible for creating the cleaning suction for the vacuum and works with the brush roll to clean up a variety of debris. If the suction motor fails, the vacuum may not be collecting debris even if the brush roll is still working. If your vacuum fails to pick up dust and debris, follow this guide to replace it.
Before you begin the repair, make sure the issue isn’t caused by something else—check the Shark ION RV754 Not Picking Up Debris troubleshooting page for possible solutions.
Also, power off your vacuum and disconnect it from the charging dock or cord.
