Shark ION RV754 Caster Wheel Replacement

Introduction

The castor wheel is the swivel wheel in the front of the Shark ION RV754 robot vacuum. It is vital for navigation and mobility and requires cleaning to function properly. If your vacuum is not moving as expected it could be that the caster wheel is tangled with hair or debris and needs to be removed to clean it or you may need to replace the wheel if it becomes damaged.

Before you begin the repair, make sure to turn off the vacuum and disconnect it from the charging dock or cord.

What you need

    • Flip the vacuum over so the bottom faces up.

    • Pull the wheel from the body of the vacuum using your fingers or a pry tool.
