Introduction
This a basic step-by-step guide for pedal replacement on a Schwinn Beach Cruiser. You will need the required tools in order replace the pedals. Gloves are optional, but if you do not want to risk inuring your hand, you may want them.
- This repair is only needed if break your existing pedals or if you just want a different look.
- The threads on the pedals may differ based on make and model.
- Make sure you are placing the correct pedal on its designated side. They should be labeled with an “L” for left and an “R” for right.

Find a clean and open space to perform the steps for the Schwinn Beach Cruiser.

Holding the pedal with one hand, use a wrench on the base where it attaches to the crank and turn counter-clockwise.

Using your wrench, finish tightening the pedal.

Repeat Steps 3-6 for the opposite pedal.
