    • Power on the washer.

    • To enter Smart Install, power the washer on, then hold or click Delay End until 17:00 displays, then hold Start for 8 seconds.

    • You will see AS pop up.

    • To do the manual test, press Delay End. To go into the next test while on the manual mode, press Delay End again. If you want to do the automatic mode, press Start. Tests are as follows:

    • 1 = Door lock. If the door does not lock within a few seconds, you will see dC or dC1 pop up.

    • 2 = Drain pump test #1 (skipped on automatic mode). Drains water. If this test fails, you will see either LC or 5C.

    • Co (4) = Cold water. If this does not work, 4C will appear, or if hot water is being supplied on this test, 4C2.

    • Ho (5) = Hot water. If this does not work, 4C will appear, or if hot water is being supplied on this test, 4C2.

    • 6 = Agitation. The wash plate will move back and forth in 3-second intervals sloshing the water inside the tub. Because of the Built-in sink, you won't be able to see it. If this does not work, PC, PC1, or 3C4 will appear.

    • 7 = Drain pump test #2. Drains water. If this test fails, you will see either LC or 5C.

    • 8 = Spin speed test. The washer will spin up to about 950 RPM. Unlike many top load washers, you will not be able to see the RPMs.

    • 10 = Door unlock. The door will unlock. If it failed for more than 1 minute, LO or FL will appear.

    • If test 10 finished, sometimes 'Ot' will appear. If just one of the tests failed, 'nG' will display, and it will populate an error for the 'Cr' mode.

    • To go to the 'Cr' mode, press Pre Soak while 'AS' is displaying. Then turn your dial. After '0001' appears, your most recent error code will appear. If you turn it seven more times, instead of saying '0001' yet again, it will go back to 'Cr'.

Conclusion

To clear error codes, follow steps as before to go into the 'Cr' mode. Then turn your dial, after 2 seconds there will be dashes.
