Remove battery from the back of the device.
Use a Phillips head screw driver to unscrew six screws on back on the device.
Using the same screw driver, slide up the screen and remove two more screws beside the camera.
Remove side buttons and pop out circuit board, this will expose two more screws. Remove these and keep them separate from the rest.
Remove the Samsung sticker to expose two metal tabs.
Peel off the black strip to expose two screws. Remove these.
Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the four screws on the back of the screen.
Once you have exposed the circuit board, peel off the green tape at the bottom. This will allow the removal of the screen.
Before removing the screen, disconnect the orange tape at the top of the circuit board. You can do this by opening up the small lock.
With the lock opened, the circuit board will automatically detach when you pull it out in step 11.
Use a flathead screwdriver to reach under the circuit board and pry it up. You should hear a tearing sound; this is the glue separating from the screen.
Once you have pried it up, the screen should come out easily. The camera and its microphone are attached at the top(outlined in red).
With the screen removed, you can then put the new one in. You must attach the orange strip to the new circuit board to properly install it.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
