With both thumbs, slide the switches outward, away from the center of the laptop.

Using your index fingers, push the battery outward, toward your body. The angle is somewhat awkward, but don't be afraid to use a little force. The battery should slide out in one motion.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
