Introduction
This guide details the removal and replacement of the screen for the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, model numbered SM-6715U. The screen provides visual feedback, allows the use of apps, and allows the collection and observation of photos. Screens on the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro are the most prone to issues according to general consumers, forcing them to solve a numerous amount of smaller issues; those of which can be seen in our troubleshooting guide about the screen not showing any image. Some are a lack of visual feedback, your screen much darker than usual, and sudden flickering of the screen while in use. Be cautious when removing the screen, as the edge is very thin and can cause cuts if mishandled. The screen could also potentially shatter while removing, so ensure you are wearing gloves or have proper cleaning materials nearby when removing. Also ensure utmost care while using the heat gun/ hair dryer, as the device will get extremely warm while heating.

Using a heat gun, or a hair dryer on high, heat the screen, focusing on the edges around the screen to melt the glue holding the screen on.

To reassemble the device, follow the steps in reverse order. New glue is not required to reattach the screen, as the previous glue will still be present and adhesive enough to attach the new screen. However, after reattaching ensure time for the old (or new) glue to settle.
