This guide will show you how to replace the home button for the Samsung Galaxy Prevail 2. No background information is required.
What you need

Using your finger nails or the spudger; pry the plastic casing open, and pull away from the body of the phone.

Insert the plastic opening tool between the silver frame and the white face of the phone to pry off the front face.

Use your thumbs to separate the motherboard from the back of the phone

With the plastic opening tool, lift up the flap to to fully open the motherboard.

Choose the motherboard side that contains the home button, as shown in the image.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
