If your Ryobi RS290G bearing assembly is loose or causing traction pad issues, this guide will show you how to successfully replace the bearing assembly.
What you need

Using a TR20 Torx security screwdriver, remove the four 6mm screws.

After removing the backing pad, carefully pull on the rubber brake to remove it from the housing assembly.

Using a TR 20 Torx security screwdriver, remove the single 3mm screw in the center of the bearing cap assembly.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Make sure to tighten down properly to avoid loose or traction pad issues.

You show and mention the washer and spring washer at the end but don’t mention in what order you took them off and replace them… probably obvious for most, but not necessarily so for us dunces.
