Introduction

This guide will instruct the user on replacing the speed selector switch on the Ryobi P277.

What you need

1. Step 1 Speed Selector Switch
  Lay the device on its side.
  
  Remove eight 5 mm screws using a TR10 Torx screwdriver.
  
  Separate the two halves by pulling up on the top half.
  
  The two halves are still attached, so use caution when opening the device.

3. Step 2
  Carefully disconnect the speed selector switch from the metal bar and remove the switch.
