Introduction
This guide will show you how to replace a Bullseye toe stop.
What is a "Bullseye" toe stop?
There are two type of roller skate toe stops. The Adjustable and the Bolt-on toe stop. The type of toe stop we'll be replacing today is a Bolt-on Bullseye toe stop (A specific type of large bolt-on toe stop.)
The skate used to demostrate this process is a Candi Grl Carlin Quad Roller Skate, but this process can be used for any rollerskate that uses a Bullseye toe stop.
Why do I need to replace my toe stop?
After a while of skating, especially if you rely heavily on your toe stops, your toe stops will begin to wear down. Skating on worn down toe stops can be dangerous! Worn down toe stops have less braking power and can cause the user to lean further into the braking motion than normal causing them to lose their balance at high speeds.
Please pay close attention to the instructions and happy skating!!!
