Flip the remote over so that the buttons are facing down and the end with the wrist strap is nearest your right hand.

Press and hold the black tab above the battery compartment.

While holding down the tab with your left hand, slide down the battery compartment cover with your right hand to remove it.

Remove the batteries by placing a finger on one end of the battery and pushing downward while pulling the battery out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
