Go to step 1 ↓If your Ridgid R175RNE nailer is firing sluggishly or not at all, then you may need to re-lubricate it. Follow this short guide to know how.
The lubrication of choice, air tool oil, is needed to keep the driving mechanism moving smoothly.
What you need

Remove the air compressor hose from the swivel connector.

Add 5-10 drops (or more, if necessary) of pneumatic tool oil into the swivel connector.

That's it! Once you put your air hose back on the connector, you'll be good to go.
