Place your helmet on a reliable, flat, sturdy surface to ensure an easy removal and replacement process.
Position the helmet so that the side closest to you is off the table.

Step 2

Use a Phillips #1 to loosen the strap-loc screw at the top corner of the helmet.
The strap loc screw is the screw that is located just behind the farthest part of the facemask.
Repeat on the opposite side of the helmet.

Pull the top part of your chinstrap up underneath both strap-loc systems.
If you are having a difficult time sliding the chinstrap underneath the strap-loc system, loosen the screw just a bit more.

With your thumb, press down onto the cam-loc system’s switch.
When you do so, you should hear a faint "click" sound. This means that the cam-loc system is open.
With your free finger, pull the chinstrap through the cam-loc system until the entire unit is fully out.
