Introduction
This guide will show you how to replace the baseplate of the Razer Orochi V2. The baseplate of the mouse contains key components like the sensor opening, mouse skates, and mounting points for the internal hardware. You may want to replace the baseplate if it is cracked, uneven, and therefore causes performance issues. You will also need to remove the baseplate in order to complete multiple other repairs like replacing the reflector, scroll wheel, or other internal components. Overall this in not a very difficult replacement to perform, but you should use caution when removing the top cover as to not strain the wires.
