    • Peel back the two teflon tape from the top corners and the one larger one from the bottom with a spudger.

    • Remove the four 7mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Unplug the white cord from the circuit board.

This is not always necessary to replace the fiber cable, in my case removing the Razer Software on Desktop helped to fix the button lags.
