Introduction

This is a guide for replacing the keys of a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013. It goes into detail about the steps you need to follow to replace the keys for this keyboard model. Some of the reasons to change the keys include: Cracked or faded keys, scratched keys, or keys popping out. Be sure to unplug the keyboard from the computer. A metal spudger will be needed for larger keys.

The regular size keys only require your fingers to remove them, so gently pull them off the keyboard.

For larger keys, such as the space bar or shift keys, the axel underneath needs to be released by gently pulling it out and away from the center of the keyboard with the metal spudger.

Ensure the keys are in alignment with the groves on the keyboard. Press the keys into the keyboard to lock them in place. Do not apply too much force while pressing the keys into the keyboard.
