RCX 1.0 Batteries Replacement

Introduction

When your RCX runs out of battery power, you'll need to put in new batteries.

  1. RCX 1.0 Batteries Replacement, Batteries: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Place the RCX on a flat surface.

    • Flip the RCX over so its black IR window is facing away from you.

  4. RCX 1.0 Batteries Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the gray battery cover by lifting from the front (near the IR window). Raise it at an angle and remove it to reveal the green battery compartment.

    • You can now remove the batteries and insert new ones.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. The orientation of the gray battery cover doesn't matter.
