What you need

Step 1 Speaker

Begin the tear down with a Phillips PH00 screwdriver.
Remove two 1.2mm x 3mm Phillips screws.

Use a plastic opening tool to pry open the case.
Do not remove the back case completely as tape has to be removed from the wires, and pulling the case apart can tear off the wires that connect to the speaker.

Carefully remove the tape over the wires connecting the speaker to the motherboard.

Remove the speaker unit from the tablet and set aside.
