What you need

  1. PowerA Spectra Contoller D-Pad Replacement, Rear Case: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Flip the controller over so the backplate is facing up.

    • Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to remove the eight 7.8 mm screws that secure the rear case.

    • Hold the front case in one hand and pull the rear case off.

    • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two 7.8 mm screws securing the motherboard to the chassis.

    • Gently take the motherboard off of the front plate.

    • Gently pry off the D-pad.
