To open the unit, first remove the filter cover, by removing the hinge after removing the end caps

dismantle the handle of the filter cover, removing the Torx screws hidden under the handle

the chrome plate can be removed with a screwdriver

remove the min/max button and the on/off button; removal of a torx screw

To remove the housing, you must remove 7 additional Torx screws
