Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓This replacement guide is for the primary charging base for the device. This base is where the answering machine is housed, and where the TEL line is connected. If the symptoms of your device indicate that you need to replace one of the components inside of the charging base, or you just need to give the front panel of the base a face lift with a newer piece, this is the guide you'll want to follow.

To fix this component, we'll need to work with the main docking station. This is the one with the answering machine and the TEL line.

To start, we'll need to work with objects on the bottom of the device, so begin by flipping the device over.

To open the main docking station, you'll need to remove four 11 mm Philips #0 screws.

With the screws removed, you can use a spudger to aid in removing the back from the device.

With the back removed, we now have direct access to all other components in the main docking station.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
