Nokia E62 Complete Disassembly

To start, press one of the latches at the top of the phone to open the rear cover.

Carefully press the other latch.

Open rear cover by this side.

Press the three latches to open this side of the cover.

Remove the rear cover.

Removed rear cover. See the latches .

Remove the screws using Torx T6 screw driver.

Remove six T6 screws.

Remove the assembly. The front cover will be released.

To remove the display , unscrew the T6 Torx at top.

Carefully disconnect the Flex cable connector. Then remove the display.

Carefully remove the adhesive keyboard membrane.

You can clean the keyboard surface with alcohol, if you dropped a drink here.

When you replace the keyboard membrane, align the two contacts at bottom.

You can wash the front cover and keyboard if they are dirty.

Keyboard - clean it if necessary.

Rear side of the circuit board.

Speaker and antenna contacts.

If necessary, you can replace the joystick, the button module or the connector housing.
