Thankfully, changing or cleaning the keypad is a simple procedure that requires minimal tools. The keypad of your Nokia 8265 can be removed, cleaned, and replaced with the help of these instructions.

Using a plastic opening tool, wedge the tip of the tool into the side of the phone's faceplate

To pry open, wiggle/twist the tip of the tool, until faceplate pops up.

To clean keypad if it is not functioning properly, use a cloth to wipe away any spills, or water damage
