Nintendo Wii U Console Battery Replacement

Introduction

Use this guide to install a new button cell battery (type CR2032). This battery is used to keep track of time when the device is off or unplugged.

What you need

  1. Nintendo Wii U Console Battery Replacement, Console Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Orient the console so that the rubber feet are facing up and the exhaust vents are facing you.

    • Unscrew the Phillips #00 screw on battery compartment cover.

    • The screw does not remove from the battery compartment cover.

    • Pull out the battery holder and battery.
